powder training

I was asked to shoot a video for the Atomic Tour de Shred after becoming the most eligible candidate from Utah ski shop life. With help from the homies (Dan Mason, Sam Webb), we made this video! With hopes to get the most votes and win the free week in jackson hole, WY to be an official tester!

We have been patiently waiting for the voting to go live!

Thanks to everyone ready to vote, but the people at Atomic or Powder mag ran out of time and they decided to just pull out of a hat!

So i got a free pair of skis from the deal, maybe i should have been skiing on Atomics!!

van rebuild

I have been modifying my van to make it more ski friendly. The interior has been removed and i have plans for wood floors, boot dryer, and a mini kitchen with stove hood.

last day of skiing in chile

Today i had an excellent last day of skiing on my South American adventures! I skied with some great friends, Aaron Schmidt, Kent Hyden and Ryan Hawks. We had excellent conditions again!

We had a very Chilian lunch. clockwise from the hand: Churasco completo(sliced hot beef, guac, tomatoes, onions, and mayo), Beer, Churasco, Escudo(beer), Completo(a hot dog with tomatoes, guac, and mayo, and some delicious empenadas!
This pic is a zone called "The fingers" and we put about 1/2 of the tracks in it since it snowed last. The picture doesn't give it justice of how long the run is! After the long day Hawks decided we should have a handstand contest for first glass of beer we had left in our room! handstands are fun with ski boots!

Thanks to the hostel international in Las Trancas, Chile! i wish i could have stayed longer and continue my trip In south america!

bus and pow

After 3 straight days of long bus rides(las lenas-mendoza-santiago-las trancas, Chillan) i made it to Nevados de Chillan. its a small but impressive ski area south of Santiago, Chile. Today i skied with a good friend, Ryan Hawks, and we killed it in 8" of new snow. I was so happy to see white snow everywhere. Today was the best day of skiing in my South American adventure.

las lenas

I have posted a couple pics from my trip to Argentina. The top pic is the finals venue "Edwardos" from the Argentinian Freesking Championships. The snow conditions were not ideal, but the venue is incredible. This other shot is the Argentine border crossing at Los Andes. I took the MSI party bus from Santiago to Las Lenas.
